Petition to Protect Angkor Temples
Dear admirers of the world wonder Angkor Temples:
We hope this note finds you well. Though this may seem random, we are connecting with you as you've been referred to from a member of our Khmer Network Civil Society. We are not just searching for a network to reach; we are seeking a close network that will help us make an impactful change. The change we need needs to happen now to protect Angkor Temples, Cambodia's sacred religious site.
Keeping it brief, the Naga Corporation, a leisure and tourism company with casino operations in Phnom Penh, announced the approval to build a touristic resort only 500 meters from the Angkor complex - a resort striving to be twice the size of Disneyland. The major negative impacts to follow structurally and environmentally are outlined on our website for more information.
We believe that you join voices to protect Angkor Wat Archeologic and Natural Park, the world’s Cultural and Natural Heritage for posterity.

និយាយឱ្យខ្លីទៅក្រុមហ៊ុនណាហ្គាខប(Naga Corp, Ltd) ជាក្រុមហ៊ុនកម្សាន្តនិងទេសចរណ៍ដែលមាន ប្រតិបត្តិការកាស៊ីណូនៅភ្នំពេញ បានប្រកាសថាគេបានទទួលការយល់ព្រមឲសាងសង់រមណីយដ្ឋាន ទេសចរណ៍ដែលមានចម្ងាយតែ ៥០០ ម៉ែត្រពីប្រាសាទអង្គរវត្ត ហើយដែលមានទំហំប៉ុនធំជាង២ដង ឌីស្នេរឡែន(Dysneyland)។ ផលប៉ះពាល់អវិជ្ជមានដ៏ធំដើម្បីអនុវត្តតាមរចនាសម្ព័ន្ធនិងបរិស្ថាននេះមានចុះជាព័ត៌មានបន្ថែម នៅលើ គេហទំព័រ របស់យើង (សូមគូសពាសលើពាក្យ គេហទំព័រ (highlight)នឹងចុចបើក។
វិធីដែលលោកអ្នកអាចជួយបន្ថែមសំលេងនិងជួយការពារប្រាសាទអង្គរវត្តគឺគ្រាន់តែ ចុះអ៊ីម៉េល (Email)បន្ទាប់មកយល់ព្រមឃ្លាថា “បាទ ឬ ចាសខ្ញុំគាំទ្រ” ញ្ញត្តិនេះ ដើម្បីការពារប្រាសាទអង្គរវត្តហើយនឹងចុចសញ្ញាផ្ញើ ជាការស្រេច។
ការយល់ព្រមជាលាយលក្ខណ៍អក្សរនេះនឹងបន្ថែមលើចំនួនហត្ថលេខា ដោយឌីជីថល (Digital)ឬ តាម អ៊ីម៉េល ដែលនឹងត្រូវដាក់ជូនទៅអង្គការយូណេស្កូ(UNESCO)។
យើងនឹងបញ្ជូនហត្ថលេខាឌីជីថលសរុបរបស់យើងទៅអង្គការយូណេស្កូនៅថ្ងៃទី ៣១ ខែមីនាឆ្នាំ ២០២១ ហើយក៏នឹងបញ្ជូនហត្ថលេខាទាំងនេះឆ្ពោះទៅមុខអាជ្ញាធរជាតិណាហ្គាខបនិងអាជ្ញាធរអប្សរានាខែមេសាដែលជាឱកាសនឹងជាសំណាងចុងក្រោយរបស់យើងដើម្បីបញ្ឈប់ការសាងសង់ រមណីយដ្ឋាន ទេសចរណ៍របស់ ក្រុមហ៊ុនណាហ្គាខប(Naga Corp, Ltd)។

Nous espérons que cette note vous trouvera bien. Bien que cela puisse sembler aléatoire, nous nous connectons avec vous comme vous l'avez mentionné par un membre de notre société civile du réseau khmer. Nous ne cherchons pas seulement un réseau à atteindre; nous recherchons un réseau étroit qui nous aidera à apporter un changement percutant. Le changement dont nous avons besoin doit se produire maintenant pour protéger les temples d'Angkor, le site religieux sacré du Cambodge.
Pour rester bref, la Naga Corporation, une société de loisirs et de tourisme exploitant un casino à Phnom Penh, a annoncé l'autorisation de construire une station touristique à seulement 500 mètres du complexe d'Angkor - une station qui s'efforce d'être deux fois plus grande que Disneyland.
